Photographer/Artist Byron Wolfe will present a work-in-progress update on his collaborative project titled Vanished: A Chronicle of Loss and Discovery across Half  a Million Years. Among the icons that he will discuss are the missing Mount Tehama, the fallen Hooker Oak, and Ishi, the last of the Yahi. Wolfe is a Lantis Professor in the Department of Communication Design in the College of Communication and Education. Project collaborators include Heather Altfeld (English), Hannah Bearden (Art), Oliver Hutton (Design), Troy Jollimore (Philosophy/Poetry), Michael Magliari (History), Sheri Simons (Sculpture), and Rachel Teasdale (Geology).
